I paid double the price on import taxes

The jacket is as expected. I first found it in a UK reseller and as I reckoned its a US product I bought it directly from Ocean Rebel eshop as it was 30€ cheaper from reseller. Little I knew. When it reached me I had to pay 157€ (almost double the price) in import taxes and brokers handling as I live in EU. I do not know whether this is standard, I would appreciate enormously a disclaimer/warning and even more an EU distribution centre that would skip those ourgageous costs.
